ABOUT ME
My name is Samridhi Sukhani ( Sam, Su Laoshi or 小荣). I am from New Delhi, India. I love learning languages and travelling around the world.So far, I have had the opportunity to dabble in 5 languages - Hindi, English, Mandarin, Japanese and Sanskrit. I would love to learn Cantonese, Russian & Spanish in the future. Apart from learning languages, I enjoy journaling, yoga & meditation, coloring (like a 5 year old kid), video editing, photography, experiencing different cultures and cuisines. I am an extrovert all the way, and get my energy from talking to people. I absolutely love listening to stories of people from different walks of life.
I have been studying Mandarin for the past 8 years, cleared the HSK 5 exam in Feb 2020, and am now studying for HSK 6.
A secret about me: Deep down, I actually want to be Youtuber, travel around China and make videos about China and Chinese language, and help people by providing information which no website or channel has covered yet. I am currently juggling between studying and teaching Mandarin, but hope to realise my dream soon!
