Welcome to Langroops 3.0

Some things have changed - here are the key things you need to know:

Regular Members

1. Your member profile:

All the member profile editing and management features have moved to a new area that you can access by clicking the "Manage Profile" button at the top of your member profile or by using the new quick access menu on the upper right side of the website header.

From the new profile manager you can: Edit your profile and see an overview of your events and langroops.

2. Finding Language Exchange Communities

Communities are now a part of the "Langroops" page where you can find our official language exchange communities as well as study group, lesson and other language exchange "langroops".

You can navigate to this page from the header and sort langroops by type and language.

3. Finding and registering for events

You can now find all the events under "Events" or you can visit a langroop's page to see events for that langroop (similar to the previous "community pages")

After clicking to "view" an event, you will be taken to a registration page where you must click the red button to RSVP. Notice: for some events you may be required to join the langroop before registering.

In the case of an online event, after registering a yellow "Join" button will appear which you can click to go directly to the platform where the event is being hosted.

From this page you can also download materials uploaded by the host and view other attendees.

For Hosts

1. Finding and managing your langroop

There are three ways to access your langroop management page:

  1. The quick navigation menu.

2. The top of your langroop's page:

3. From your personal profile manager:

All three of these methods will take you to the management area of a specific langroop. From this area you can manage members, events, edit settings, preview messages and upload pictures to the gallery.

2. Booking and editing events

Now all events must be hosted as part of a langroop. To book an event for a langroop go to the langroop manager and click "Book an Event".

To edit an event go that event's event registration page and click "Edit Event" on top.
